Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information we collect through the waitlist form on structuredchaos.ai and how we handle it. Invited reviewers: your details are covered by the reviewer section below.

What we collect

When you submit the waitlist form we collect:

• Your email address (required)
• Your platform interest: Windows, Mac, Linux, or "not sure yet"
• Technical request metadata: IP address, country (derived via Cloudflare), browser user-agent, referring URL, and any UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content) present in the link you used to reach the page

Why we collect it

We use the data only to:

• Notify you by email when the Structured Chaos customer package is ready for the platform(s) you selected.
• Understand basic traffic sources and geography so we know which posts or channels are reaching the right people.

We do not use the data for advertising, remarketing, profiling, or any purpose other than the waitlist and our own internal planning.

Where it is stored

The data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (a serverless SQLite instance) attached to our Cloudflare Pages project for structuredchaos.ai. Cloudflare handles hosting, transport encryption, and infrastructure security. We do not copy or store the waitlist data anywhere else.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email or personal information with any third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Deletion and your rights

You can request deletion of your record at any time. Email [email protected] from the address you used to sign up, with the subject "Delete my waitlist data" (or similar). We will remove the entry and confirm.

We will also respond to other reasonable privacy-related requests sent to the same address.

Invited reviewers

If you were invited to review Structured Chaos and use the reviewer page, we collect:

• Your email address, which you confirm by opening the link we send you
• Your full legal name, phone number and mailing address
• The link to where you will publish your review, and your organization if you are accepting for one
• Your confirmation that you are 18 or older
• Which version of the reviewer agreement you accepted, when you accepted it, and when your review is due
• Your country as reported by Cloudflare. We do not store your IP address with your reviewer record.

We use these details only to run the reviewer program: to confirm who accepted the agreement, to issue your download link and licence key, and to contact you about your review. We do not use them for advertising, marketing lists, or profiling.

They are stored in our own Cloudflare-hosted database for the Structured Chaos licensing service. Emails to you, including your confirmation link, download link and licence key, are sent through Loops (loops.so), our email delivery service. Loops receives your email address and the contents of each of those emails in order to deliver them, and keeps a record of the emails it sent. These emails are not tracked for opens or clicks, and sending them does not add you to any mailing list. Apart from Loops delivering those emails, we do not copy your details anywhere else, and we never sell, rent, trade or share them.

To have your details deleted, email [email protected] from the address you used, with the subject "Delete my reviewer data" (or similar). We will delete your details and your acceptance record, ask Loops to delete its record of the emails sent to you, and confirm. Deleting your details does not switch off your licence or download link; tell us in the same email if you also want those ended.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the project evolves. The last-updated date at the top will change. Continued use of the waitlist form after an update means you accept the revised policy.
